Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to everyone! I know that the weekend was busy for everyone but I hope that you enjoyed getting to see all of your family and friends. I know that Chris, Ephriam and I enjoyed getting to see everyone this weekend. We had a great time hanging out at Meijers with my mom and dad. They don't have a Meijer in TN so it is great for them to hang out at. We were going to go to the Aquarium but by the time we would have gotten down there we would have to have turned around and came back. Then we spent Thanksgiving at the Walkers. It was so nice to see everyone and we were glad to get to spend time with Cindy, Eric and the kids. I know that Chris' mom was thrilled to have us all at her house for Thanksgiving. I did end up having to go into work that night but that wasn't bad. I had a good time hanging out with the girls that were there. On Friday I got of course to sleep and then I went to pick Ephriam up from Jill's when Chris called to say that he was getting off work early. That ment that we got to leave for my Grandparents house early. We left here around 4 and got up there around 7. It was very nice drive and Ephriam was glad to get out of the car when he did. We had a nice weekend hanging out with everyone and are looking forward to Christmas up there this year. Well that about sums things up here. I hope to put up a new picture of Ephriam soon. Bye!

Happy Thanksgiving (in advance)

What a week we are having so far and it is going to get better from here on out. Yesterday Ephriam and I got a lot done around the house. I got my house picked up from the weekend since we weren't home a lot and when we were we came in and set things down. Then I made dinner and talked to Grandma and Grandpa, ate dinner and went to work. Then at 2am this morning I got sent home because they couldn't justify having both Helena and I there and Helena needed to stay because in case they had a c-section they needed her there to scrub. I should be there tonight by myself and I don't think that I will have a lot to do so I will be doing my school work. I need to be there because I need the hours though so that is the way the cookie crumbles. Tomorrow when I get home my mom and dad will be here! That is way exciting. I am more excited about seeing dad since I haven't seen him since July and of course I am still excited about seeing my mom but what kid doesn't get excited about seeing mom? Then I have a test to take for Child Development and then I will come home and go to bed. Then I have to work Thanksgiving night come home and sleep for a while go pick up Ephriam and then come home and get ready to go to my Grandparents! On Friday after Chris gets off work we are headed to their house for the weekend. We may go to the lights at the Toledo Zoo on Saturday night with my family. Then we will come home on Sunday. So it is going to be a busy week but I am looking forward to most of it. I hope that you all have a good Thanksgiving! Love, me!

What a Weekend

What a weekend we had! Friday night we were suppose to go help out at the Jeremy Camp concert but we decided that since our weekend was so full that we would just stay in for the evening. And boy am I a glad that we did. Saturday morning we went to the Christmas parade and those are the pictures that are posted above. Then Chris and I spent from 1pm till 10pm doing Christmas shopping. We had a blast doing so and enjoyed getting to spend time as a couple with out Little Man. I have however missed him while we were out and was glad that he got up to eat for me when I got home. Today we went to church and then just about right after church we went to one of the older members of the church to rake her leaves for her. Then we came home and got Santa's workshop set up and went through all the hand-me downs that we have gotten for Ephriam. We are going to share some of them with Ephriam's cousin Parker since he doesn't have any clothes beyond the size he is in now. This week is going to be a busy one too. Monday Chris goes to work and I will be at home durning the day and then work that night. The next morning Christopher will be going to a job interview and I will be at home with Ephriam till he gets back. My mom and dad are coming in late that night for a visit. Unfortunatly at this point I have to work. Chris will go to work on Wed. and I will be at home durning the day to hang out with mom and dad for a while and then that night I have a test for school and then I will come home. Thursday is Turkey Day! We will be having dinner at Chris' parents house and then I will be going into work that night. Then the next day after Chris gets off work we are headed to Toledo to spend time with my family. We will be back later that weekend sometime. It will be nice to get to see everyone all over again. It seems like it has been a long time since I have been up there yet it has only been a few weeks. Well I need to get

Back to School

Okay well I am not doing so hot getting to this thing like I want to but here I am today. We had a pretty good weekend. Friday night we stayed in and ate pizza and watched Elf. Yes we are crazy Christmas Nuts! It was nice to be at home and cuddle on the couch. Saturday I got to have a girls day out! I went to Heather's fall into the holidays, to the Pleasant Tree, and to Hallmark's open house. I didn't come home till 3. Once I got home I feed Ephriam and then Chris, Ephriam, Mark, and I ran to Sams and then watched Batman Begins. It was a pretty good movie. One of the best Batman movies that I have seen. Then Ephriam decieded to be a pill. We were up till 1 am with him trying to get him to go to sleep. Once he finally did I thought that he would sleep in late. WRONG! He was up at 7:30 and was still a pill. He was pretty good through the music part of church but when it came sermon time we ended up walking around the church to make him happy. We got home from church he ate and then only took a 45 minute nap. He was refusing to eat solid foods and wanted to nurse every hour. Well then he finally pooped at about 3 and then he was happy. I think that he was constipated from his iron that he is on. So I am working out finding what is going to be the best solution for him so that we don't have this problem again. Well that night we went to Youth Group with out Ephriam and he was great for Grandma. Youth Group went great as well. We got the kids to pick apart 1/2 of a verse in the Bible. It was really nice to see them participate and all that. Monday we went back to the grind of our usaual week. Tuesday I spent most of my time sleeping because I worked the night before and then had to go back in Tuesday night. Today I am back to class. Last week I didn't have to go to class but this week I start a new class. I got my grade for Pharm and I got a D so I need to retake the class and work won't pay for my D. I know that I could have studied harder towards the end of quater and missing one class due to Ephriam getting sick didn't help either but that is no excuse for my lack of effort. This semester I am taking Child Developement. I am sure that will be a little easier then Pharm. I am looking forward to starting out on a fresh quater. As far as the rest of the week goes it is pretty busy. Thursday Ephriam and I are staying in and finishing up laundry. Friday Christopher and I are working the Narnia booth at the Jeremy Camp concert. Saturday at 10 am Santa comes to Hamilton so we are going to the parade and then Christopher and I are off to do our Christmas shopping. Sunday we have church then after church we are going to rake leaves for one of the older memebers of the church with our youth group. Then we finally get to rest! So that is life for us. I hope that everyone who reads this is doing well and I look forward to posting more for you when I can. Peace.

TGIF

Well I am sure glad that is week is over and that we have the weekend. Not that I had a bad week but I like that I have the weekends off and don't have to go in till Monday night. For some reason today I am feeling pretty tired. I am looking forward to sleeping all night long. Tomorrow is Heather's Fall into the Holidays with Jazzersize and I am looking forward to being able to get out and not have Ephriam with me for a few hours. It will be strange but that is okay too. I am hoping to also go to Meijer and pick up the pictures that I have taken of Ephriam on a disposable camera and to get my package all set to send out to my "aunt" Amanda who is over in Iraq serving as an nurse in the military. So for those of you who didn't know that she was over there please pray for her and my Uncle Joe because this year is going to be long one for them. Other then that things are going great here. Ephriam is kinda starting to actually get up on his hands and knees and try to crawl. He hasn't been very sucesseful yet but that is okay. He will do it when he is ready and I am sure after that it won't take him long to start pulling himself up on things. Well I need to get Ephriam feed and put to bed but I hope that all is well with the rest of the world and I hope to continue to get back to posting more often. Everyday is my goal but you know we are still working on that. Peace Out.

Been a while

Well it has been a while since I have been able to get on to this and update it. I know that there are a few people out there that read this and check it daily so here it is. I am Loving my job working Labor, Delivery, and Post Baby care. The girls I work with are very nice and we seem to be getting a long well. I wasn't sure that I was going to make it with a few of them but things have panned out and there are going to be no problems. I am still working on adjusting to night shift but that too will pan out in the near future when I have a "normal" week. Ephriam is not adjusting so well to his mommy being gone at night but I know that in due time he will. He has been really clinging lately and sometimes it is pain but I know that he will grow out of it someday. I sure do enjoy the days when I get to spend just him and I together. Other then that Ephriam is scooting himself all over the floor. I reaches for somthing that he can't get and his pushes himself with his legs till he gets to what he wants. He is growing quicker and quicker and this and I am sure that he will find out soon how quick he can be if he gets up on his hands and knees if not I am sure that he will go staight to pulling himself up on things and walking. He is getting better at that if he holds on to someones fingers. Christopher is doing well adjusting to me working the night shift. He does a great job of putting Ephriam to bed and getting him up and ready to go to Jill's house. He still dislikes his job and is still looking at other jobs but for now I guess that God had him where he wants him to be. We are still doing the youth group and we are getting about 10 kids a week. We have done a lot of fun stuff with the kids so next week we are going to dig into the bible. It give our older kids a chance to get their feet wet in something that they want to do. Other then that Ephriam and I took a trip to Toledo to see my family this past weekend and it was a great trip. I am really worn out but that it okay because I got to see everyone. Parker has grown so much! He is 4 months younger then Ephriam and only weights 2 lbs less then what Ephriam does. This Thursday I will see if Ephriam has gained some more weight because we have breastfeeding group and there is a scale in there to weight him. Well I think that is all for now if not I will catch more up later.
PS the pic is Ephriam from Halloween!
